In addition to the previously available Bear Songs, the intrepid reader can now feast eyes and inner ears on Minding the Gap, a short chapbook of eight English  poems, by which we mean of England.

Daniel

Calling all composers: Based on the Book of Daniel (including the apocryphal books about  Susan and Baal), this is a "stage oratorio" replete with recitatives and arias that has a religious background but is written for the stage.

You'll find two docs here; one is the full text for the oratorio, the other is an essay with thoughts on the genesis and dramaturgy of the work.

Note that while the libretto is in German, an English version is in the works.

Synchronicity
